Magical Powers/Abilities: Her specialties are enchantment and elemental magic, specifically water. She has small ability with earth and air as well, but fire is something she’s never been able to master.
Magical Weaknesses: Fire magic, as mentioned above, and basically everything else.

Personality: Outspoken and self-confident, Du isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She has a temper befitting her fiery hair, and a generous measure of curiosity. She loves swimming and singing.

Backstory: Dubhiarr comes from a long line of mostly tall and redheaded Scottish mages, with a variety of specialties. Way, way back in her ancestry are a Changeling named Caradoc and his Merrow lover, Meriel. The Fae blood has been all but bred out over the intervening thousand years or so (and possibly added to in small degree by Liannan Sith at some point), but Du still has a great affinity for the ocean. This is helped by the fact that Meriel is part of a pod of Merrow living in the waters near the MacNamaras’ ancestral home in Aberdeen; the Merrow and MacNamaras have a long-standing peace treaty in place. Du has been a student at Dunehelden since she was old enough to enroll in the Academy, and has ambitions of becoming a marine biologist after she graduates.

Appearance: 6’2”, curvy, with fair, freckled skin, long, straight red hair and deep blue eyes. Her hair hangs down to her knees when loose, and she usually keeps it in a braid. She dresses most often in purple, with form-flattering dresses and scarves.
