Guys' Night Out

A smirk curled across Bolin's features.

"There is. I just like Panthro better."

"Fair enough."

Vincent looked over at Dom with a raised brow. "You're awfully quiet. Tiger got your tongue?"

Dom laughed and shook his head. "I was enjoying your conversation, that's all. I did have a possible costume idea for next year, though. The three of us as Tigger, Pooh and Christopher Robin."

Jaebi walked over to the table, three new drinking horns in his large hands. He smiled at the trio as he set them on the table, with little wire stands to keep them upright until the teachers were ready to drink them. He handed Vincent a note that read "Saw you were running low; I'll start you guys a tab."

He smiled again, then loped back towards the counter, setting a pair of teenage girls a-giggling as he passed by their table.

Vincent looked up as Jaebi came by with more tea, and smiled as he read the note. "Thank you very much." He raised his not-yet-empty horn in a toast.

As Jaebi left and the girls at another table burst into giggles, he chuckled. "I wonder how many times that's going to happen tonight."

Bolin tapped his knuckles on the tabletop, thoughtfully running his tongue along his teeth.

"Wanna make a bet?" He grinned.

Vincent chuckled. "Maybe."

He looked at his brother, a slow grin spreading over his face. "How's this for a bet. I wager you wouldn't even last five minutes watching the Star Wars Holiday Special."

Dom stared at Vincent for a moment, then grinned back. "Yeah? I'll wager you won't last through the first song of Love Never Dies."

Bolin took a sip from his new drinking horn and looked between the two brothers. "I'll witness both to see who lasts longest." He smirked. "What's the punishment for the loser?"

"Good question." Dom sat back, regarding Vincent over the rim of his horn. "Ooh. Maybe the loser has to watch the winner's film all the way through to see what it's like?"

Vincent raised a brow. "Or, perhaps the loser has to watch a film of Bolin's choosing, since he was the one who suggested making bets in the first place." He glanced at Bolin for his opinion.

Bolin steepled his fingers and gave his friends a smile that was positively evil.

"Oh, I can work with that. I have a whole collection."

Dom laughed. "I bet you do. As witness, I think you should supervise us in case we're tempted to flee. And yes, Vincent, you're allowed to take a break during the intermission," he added as his brother opened his mouth.

Grinning, he held out his hand. "Do we have a wager?"

Vincent looked at Dom for a long moment, then seized and shook his hand. "You're on. Soon as we can get our hands on the special, since it's so blasted hard to find. Love Never Dies ought to be easier."

Bolin shrugged. "I'm sure one of the students might have it. Teenagers tend to have questionable tastes."

"Very true." Vincent drained his horn of tea and picked up one of the three Jaebi had brought. "I'm sure some have watched it simply to see how horrible it is, like we're doing. When the creator of the film explicitly disowns it, you know it has to be terrible."

Bolin heard another burst of giggles and whisperings coming from another table across the cafe.

"That's two," he announced before taking another sip. "Place your bets, gentlemen. We'll set the timeframe for the next hour."

Dom grinned. "We haven't set the parameters for this bet, have we? All we discussed was the films. Different thing entirely. What's the consequence for the loser this time?"

"I think losing money is consequence enough," said Vincent. He reached into his wallet and pulled out a bill. "I wager five quid that Jae gets between five and ten bouts of giggles in the next hour."
